Being Uganda’s largest and oldest conservation area, the park hosts about 76species of mammals and over 451 birds. It is also bisected by the Victoria Nile which plunges 45m over the remnant rift valley wall creating the amazing Murchison falls which is the center piece of the park. On your way to the park you will have lunch enroute before you proceed with the Journey to Murchison falls.
Upon arrival, you will do a boat cruise. The trip will take you to the bottom of the falls where you will carefully watch animals like the buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, elephants and plenty of water birds like the herons, cormorants, ducks, bee-eaters, kingfishers, skimmers, fish eagles, the rare shoebill and many other more species. The base of the falls is also an awe-inspiring moment. You will also hike 45minutes to the captivating top of the falls, here you will have a chance to have beautiful scenery and also take photos for the unforgettable experience! Day 2: Do a Morning Game Drive; Return to Kampala
Catch an early morning breakfast and do your game drive before dawn to catch up with the early risers, during that time; the temperatures are cooler and animals are more active. This exciting safari will enable you spot animals like Elephants, jackals, Buffaloes, lions, bushbucks, leopards, hyenas, giraffes, lions, antelopes and . You will rest from the game safari and then drive back to Kampala not forgetting to have a lunch enroute.
