BAHAI TEMPLE.

The word Baha’i comes from the name of the founder of the Baha’i faith, “Bahaullah,” which means the “Glory of God” A Baha’i is simply a follower of Bahaullah.

 The Baha’i Temple is the mother temple of the Baha’i faith in Africa. The Baha’i temple is a house of worship sitting on 52 acres of land and 3 miles in the north of Kampala. The temple was built in 1958 and finished in 1961 with a unique architectural design. The temple is located on top of Kikaaya hill, surrounded with tall trees making the place cool, the leveled grass growing on the ground and under the flowers gives a beautiful scenery. The quietness of the place gives great experience and the faiths way of praise and worship is meditation thus being a quite welcoming Destination for you.
