Daily Tour 7 Days 6 Nights
Uganda Uganda

Batwa are indigenous forest dwelling pygmy people who live in the forests of Bwindi, Echuya and Mgahinga forests though their habitant were disrupted by the creation of Bwindi and Mgahinga protected areas by the colonial administration in the 1930s. Originally, Batwa were hunter-gatherers in southwest Uganda with short height structure. Rutwa is the local language but phasing out due to the dominant Rufumbira and Rukiga used in the communities with the bakiga and Bafumbira in the neighboring districts of Kanungu, Kisoro and Kabale as well as outskirts of the forests. On the other hand, littered with Islands and enclosed by steep, terraced hills, Africa’s second deepest lake with its surrounding having looks of the Swiss Alps is unforgettably scenic!
